General Information
This assay is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with abnormal insulin secretion.
Values obtained with different assay methods should not be used interchangeably in serial testing. It is recommended that only one assay method be used consistently to monitor each patient's course of therapy.

Limitations
Samples should not be taken from patients receiving therapy with high
biotin doses (i.e. > 5 mg/day) until at least 8 hours following the last biotin
administration.
