| General Information |
Determines the blood group (ABO) and Rh type (pos or neg). The Blood group and Rh type of expectant mothers may indicate potential for hemolytic disease of the fetus/newborn. Rh typing is used to determine Rh immune globulin candidacy for prenatal and postpartum patients. |
